Elizabeth Belle SHAUL  87, daughter of Joseph and Mary Hamilton Belton died Monday evening Feb 6, 1950 enroute to the St. Frances Hospital at Beech Grove, a suburb of Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for a number of years but seriously ill for only two days. Death was due to a heart attack. She was born in Waveland Oct 8, 1862. In 1880 she was united in marriage with Samuel Shaul (see marr. above) who preceded her in death in 1907. To this union six children were born, 3 of whom died in infancy. One daughter, Mrs. Olive McGloshan died in 1909 leaving a son, Harold. One son Harry died in October 1946, leaving a widow and two children. Mrs. Shaul and her husband were united with the Methodist Church and remained members of the local church until their deaths. She spent 61 years as a resident in the Waveland community and has lived with her remaining son, Frank and his wife, Lola in Indianapolis for 25 years. Surviving besides her son are two grandsons, Harold McGloshan of Indianapolis and Richard Shaul of Crawfordsville; two granddaughters, Mrs. Doris Mitchell of Crawfordsville; and Geraldine Cherry of Muncie; six great grandchildren; two nieces, Mrs. RT Burrin and Mrs. Guy Spruhan; and a nephew, Rupert Belton. A sister, Mrs. Arthur Kleiser and a brother, Frank Belton preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist Church with Rev. EF Prevo in charge. However, the Maple Ridge Cemetery she is indeed SHAUL and her husband is Samuel B. Shaul so not sure who the Stentz is - anyone know??
